At Bean Farm, we’re excited to now offer Reptilinks, a nutritious innovation in whole-prey reptile food.
Professional reptile keepers and amphibian keepers have added this healthy, customized, raw food option to their animals’ diets as they’re more nutrient dense and provide the same nutritive value in smaller portions.
Reptilinks use whole prey, locally-sourced food (raised for human consumption), and include bone, fur, feather, entrails, and organs. All products are made fresh in Ohio and are rigorously lab tested by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Each cased link comes in a natural collagen casing that’s safely and easily digested by reptiles, and they conveniently come in a variety of sizes.
Because Reptilinks naturally contain a lot of bone and connective tissue from larger prey, the calcium-to-phosphorous ratio (extremely important for reptile health, and a reptile's diet should be in the range between 1:1 and 2:1) is considerably higher than feeder rodents. This means your reptile can eat more fruits, vegetables and insects while still maintaining a perfect calcium to phosphorus ratio, crucial for preventing metabolic bone disease (MBD).
Per gram, Reptilinks contain considerably more calories than feeder rodents. This means more time between feedings, ultimately decreasing your food bill.

Frog Mini Links. Mini links are ground whole-prey (bullfrog legs) in an alginate casing. Perfect for hatchling and neonates, and juvenile or adults of the smallest species! Mini links are roughly the size of pinky mice. There's no better food for hognose snakes! Reptilinks has a 99% success rate with feeding picky hognose snakes who refuse pinkies. Scenting (Juices) available:
African Soft Fur Rat (ASF) for Scenting, 1oz. All natural with no dyes or preservatives. A must-have when transitioning ASF specialists such as ball pythons. Also elicits feeding response for many other species, and helps transition to frozen/thawed. Species-proven to elicit greater feeding responses every time!
Frog Juice for Scenting, 1oz. Frog juice can be used to help transition frog specialist species (such as hognose snakes) to other food sources, such as pinky mice or various types of Reptilinks.
