The Wifi-connected Herpstat 2 SpyderWeb temperature controller has a total of 2 outputs, allowing you to plug in and control up to 2 heating, cooling, humidity, or lighting devices simultaneously--each with a grounded outlet and a premium steel-tipped sensor probe.
This proportional thermostat is replete with Wifi connectivity, allowing for local and remote based monitoring, email monitoring, data graphing, over the air updates, and more. Also, this model was designed with expanded temperature control, so now you get to mimic your reptile species' natural habitat up to 4 periods per day (more than just the day and night temperatures settings).
The large color LCD is customizable, so you are no longer stuck with one color style. These new thermostat features push reptile keeping and environment control to a whole new level!

About Pulse Proportional Thermostats
These are more accurate and consistent than on/off units. Pulse proportional thermostats provide precise temperature regulation and efficient power usage, because they continuously take temperature readings in the vivarium and send pulses of energy to your heater that guide the vivarium temperature to your ideal level.
Since they avoid abrupt on/off cycles and provide precise control over the heat output, pulse proportional thermostats are the least likely to cause thermal stress on connected bulbs, making them suitable for heat lamps and basking bulbs, long strips of heat tape, UTHs, and heat emitters, in addition to most heating devices on the market.
Because pulse proportional thermostats are the most sophisticated, they are often more expensive than other types of thermostats.
